Chef and owner Melina Davies opened the first Olive & Thyme in 2011 in the Toluca Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles. A former film producer, she ventured into restaurant ownership with an adoration for cooking that began as a child and the much-needed support of her family. Now, almost a decade later, she has grown her once dream restaurant into a bustling business that includes full-service catering, custom gifting and a namesake cookbook. Her love for creating togetherness through shared culinary experiences has made Olive & Thyme into a destination where she and her team spend their days cultivating good company.
