Mini Kabob was first founded by a man with Persian Armenian roots who owned the mechanic shop behind it. He started it to fulfill his desire for the traditional mini ground beef kabobs wrapped with lavash. Business wasn't working so well that he would eventually sell his business. Mini Kabob filtered through many more owners until 1995. Ovakim Martirosyan and his wife Alvard Martirosyan took over and never looked back.
The Martirosyan family embodies the mom and pop business with a new addition to their team, their son, Armen Martirosyan. The three work together in a collective effort to execute Armenian kabob with the greatest passion. Mini Kabob isn’t just another business in Los Angeles, it has become a destination point, a place where people have and will continually come to enjoy the presence of home cooked meals by the Martirosyan family.
